The Facilitating Career Development  (FCD) program is an internationally recognized training certificate program for people working with clients/students in career development or job counseling. The 120-hour class meets to prepare you for success in the growing field of career development. This course combines face-to-face training with eLearning to give you the skills you need to work in any type of career development setting.  The FCD title designates individuals working in a variety of career development settings who have met the requirements set forth by the Council on Credentialing & Education, Inc. (CCE) and the National Career Development Association (NCDA). Those who complete this course are qualified to apply to become a Certified Career Services Provider (CCSP) or a Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF).

This training is designed for individuals working in the Kindergarten to Grade 12 sector. They work in these primary areas:   student career education and advising, working with business and industry as the school’s key point of a contract, and organizing career-related events such as career days, job fairs, company tours, or internship/externships.
